Organization of Black Screenwriters Presents A Breakfast and Conversation with Isaiah Washington

The Organization of Black Screenwriters (OBS) is launching its ABC's series, A Breakfast and Conversation with industry professionals to bridge together insiders, insider tips, and writers, in dialogue about the craft. On May 16th the series kicks off with actor, producer, writer, and humanitarian, Isaiah Washington.

Washington will discuss the relationship of actor to script; what an actor looks for in a script, what draws an actor to a script, and much more including a moderated Q &A.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 9:00 AM in the main auditorium of the historic GoldenState Mutual Life Insurance Bldg., 1999 West Adams Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90018.

An NAACP image award recipient, Washington is a veteran actor in film and television. His credits include "Dancing in September," "Love Jones," "Romeo Must Die", "Get On the Bus," "Bionic Woman" and "Grey’s Anatomy." He is currently attached to Pathway’s Entertainment, "Through the Eyes of a Son: The Lou Rawls Story," where he lends his talent to portray singer Lou Rawls, in the upcoming biopic.
