Auditions for Stage Production of 'Rapper's Delight'

The first round of auditions for
Dr. Fran's smash hit play, "Rapper's Delight",
will take place next week.

Here are the details.

SYNOPSIS: A rapper loses his mojo
when his 8-year old daughter prays and
asks God to remove profanity and
language demeaning to women from his arsenal.

ROLES AVAILABLE

Trevan aka "Spoon" - African American, late 20s, early 30s - God's gift to rap.

Annette - Spoon's wife, career woman, no-nonsense

Delight - the Spoons' 8-year old daughter, precocious and witty

Nzyme - Spoon's manager - ethnicity irrelevant

Blew - a curly headed Jewish or white guy (must LOOK ethnic)

Label Execs - ethnicity unimportant (small or non-speaking parts)

Homies - small speaking parts


AUDITION DETAILS

TUESDAY, May 5, 2009 & TUESDAY, MAY 12 (if necessary)
7:00 - 8:30 pm

***Note: if we find the right peeps at the May 5th
audition, the May 12th audition will be canceled.

So, if you want to be considered for a role, drop
everything and be there Tuesday, May 5, 2009 @ 7 pm.

This play will be a HUGE success!
